AROME AMERICA BEGINS ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
Effective immediately Arome America LLC will issue Organic Certificates for the majority of its product line. These certificates will certify that specific products are "Organic" as defined in Part 7 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 205.27, and Part 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 179.26. NEW FDA FOOD ALLERGEN LABELING REQUIREMENTS
As of January 1, 2006 labeling on foods is required to include a listing of eight major food allergens; milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and soybeans. This requirement also extends to flavors used as ingredients in finished food products. As a service to our customers, Arome America LLC has revised all specification sheets to include allergen information. Individual "Allergen Statements" for specific products will continue to be available upon request.
