The Fisher Home.

Our specifically hospice trained clinical team is on call 24 hours/day. Medical supervision, pain management, and dispersion of medicine are the responsibility of our nursing staff.

  • Medical Director
    The Medical Director is a physician who interacts with the interdisciplinary team to assure quality of care and appropriate symptom management. The Medical Director works in concert with the primary care physician.

  • Hospice Nurse
    A registered nurse who oversees patient care plans. The Hospice Nurse works directly with patients, families, physicians and other caregivers to coordinate and administer the most effective plan of care.

  • Social Worker
    The Social Worker is available to patients, families and caregivers throughout the duration of treatment. Through counseling, the Social Worker provides support for patients and community members also providing bereavement counseling for groups and individuals.

  • Chaplain
    The Hospice Chaplain will assume pastoral responsibilities with the Hospice team and will deliver spiritual counsel upon request. The Chaplain can also work in conjunction with local clergy to assure religious support.

Various therapists give individual care to our patient to promote the maximum quality of life. In addition to the conventional forms of therapy, such as physical and occupational therapies, we may offer art and music therapy to our patients.

The administrator manages all aspects of The Fisher Home and coordinates staffing and the interdisciplinary team.

Our staff is always available to communicate and to help, not only to our patients but also to their family members and friends.
