Nora took a morning train to Verona and visited the third-largest Roman colosseum. She toured the Castelvecchio and visited the central Piazza to see the whale rib (it did not fall). She climbed the tower to view the city then visited Santa Anastasia church and the Cattedrale. Lastly she crossed the river to the old Roman theater and rode the evening train back to Venezia through a huge thunderstorm.
