Nora awoke early to take a train to Pisa San Rosore and climbed the leaning tower. Another train to Lucca allowed for lunch in the Piazza Anfiteatro featured in the photograph in Nora’s playroom back in Maryland along with playtime along the city’s ancient walls and a view of the Tintoretto hanging in the “duomo.”
