After a drive to Courmayeur it was time to ascend Europe’s highest peak.  Fortunately a series of funivie travel above Monte Bianco’s glaciers.  Lunch was in an Alpine meadow with plenty of hiking time in the moraine below the glaciers.  A sudden storm arrived (snow and rain) just as it was time to return to Barolo where the weather was perfect for rollerblading.
