Nora left the United States on August 1 and flew to Roma where she traveled by train to Orvieto, Firenze, Pisa, Lucca, Milano and Santhia.  She then traveled by car to Barolo, Courmayeur and Monte Bianco.  Train travel resumed to Venezia and Verona with boats to Murano, Burano and Torcello.  After an overnight train to Bari she traveled by car to Altamura and Alberobello.  Trains served the last leg of her journey back to Roma and to Napoli, Pompeii and Castel Gandolfo. Nora returned to the United States on August 25.
